Since May 2019, Rogier van der Hooft has been a director at CbusineZ, the innovation and participation company affiliated with health insurer CZ. And representative of the health insurers on the board of the Neokidney Foundation. CbusineZ invests in promising innovations in Dutch healthcare and helps to scale these up. Main focus of CbusineZ is digitization of health care as well as initiating and creating transformation to (more) AI-driven health care. In this way, CbusineZ contributes to future-proof care. Neokidney is one of the 22 great initiatives that CbusineZ is associated with. Rogier holds a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a master's degree in Health Science (Maastricht University) and Business Administration (TIAS). Before his role as director at CbusineZ, he was director of Marketing, Sales and Online at health insurer CZ for seven years.
Nico Verdonschot

Nico Verdonschot is the Scientific Director of the Technical Medical (TechMed) Centre at the University of Twente. He is a Full Professor of orthopaedic biomechanics at Radboudumc and a Professor of implant biomechanics at the University of Twente. Since 2016, he is a visiting professor at Politecnico di Milano. In 2018, he received an Honorary Doctorate from Aalborg University. He is chairman of 4TU.Health which is representing the health-related research performed at the Federation of Technical Universities in the Netherlands (‘4TU’). Furthermore, he is chairing the steering group ‘MedTechNL’, a large consortium of stakeholders that is creating a national program for Medical Technology that is required to make healthcare sustainable and provide an economic impulse to the MedTech industry in the Netherlands.
Henk Westendorp

Henk Westendorp has an MSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente in the Netherlands. He worked in the field of medical devices for over 25 years in R&D, strategy, marketing, business and sales. He worked at Vitatron, a pacemaker company in R&D for 7 years. He moved to Medtronic in Minneapolis, USA and was responsible for global product planning and marketing for cardiac devices for 5 years. In 2010 he transitioned to Medtronic European HQ in Switzerland to lead the European Marketing and subsequently as Vice President of the business unit for Cardiac Devices for Europe and the Cardiac-Vascular Group covering 10 countries until 2020. Henk moved with his family to the Netherlands and is now leading Medtronic BeNeLux organisation. He supports the TechMed centre at the University of Twente and 3 start-up companies.
Jan Harm Zwaveling Chairman of the board of directors of Máxima MC

Dr Jan Harm Zwaveling (1955) has been chairman of the board of directors of Máxima MC since 2013, a large top clinical hospital with locations in Eindhoven and Veldhoven. Before that, he was a board member in 2010. Zwaveling previously worked at MUMC+ (AZM and Maastricht University). There he was head of the Intensive Care Department, professor of intensive care and chairman of the academic community (‘Stafconvent). He previously worked as a professor at the University Hospital in Groningen. Until March this year, he held the rotating chairmanship of mProve, a partnership of seven ambitious top clinical hospitals. Dr Zwaveling is a strong supporter of regional, but certainly also intersectoral cooperation.
